Tom runs Venture Force which delivers the youth and adult trips for MBG to Gunjur. Tom has supported MBG since 2016 delivering summer trips from Marlborough St. Johns School and adult groups from St. James’s Place. Since 2016 Tom has led most of our on the group projects in the ground in Gunjur in partnership with the Gunjur Link Committee.

the Tom’s passion, experience and qualifications stem from a childhood love of the outdoors, an extensive career in Scottish Mountain Rescue Service, leading and managing in excess of over 150 overseas expeditions and a background in International policing.

Tom has led expeditions all over the world to locations that includ  The Gambia, Alaska, Ghana, Nepal, Sumatra, Morocco, Mongolia, India, Vietnam, Namibia, Botswana and Ecuador. This depth of experience enables him to oversee the formulation of exciting, fulfilling and fun adventures, courses and projects using safety as a baseline.

It’s impossible to keep him tied to the desk though!
